FootballSSG competitions are held at Pittwater ‘Rat’ Park, a part of the North Narrabeen Reserve sporting complex, located on Pittwater Road, North Narrabeen

FootballSSG are Manly Warringah summer soccer competitions run mid-week, on your choice of Tuesday or Thursday afternoons and evenings

We created the FootballSSG to aid in the ongoing growth and development of the game of football, and in particular, to aid in the natural development of player’s technical skills

The basics of FootballSSG and futsal are very similar. Most of the rules are similar including: the size of the field; the non-contact nature of play; and the length of the matches. The key and fundamental difference between FootballSSG and futsal is that we play on turf and use a turf ball (like you would use in your full-sized-field winter competition). This is because we want our players to improve their technical football skills, something we feel is best done using the ball and the surface they will experience in their regular winter competition.

You might just want to have fun. You might want to improve or enhance your fitness. All of these are valid reasons to play FootballSSG, Manly Warringah summer soccer.

DECLARATION & SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATION APPLICATION

I warrant that above information is true and correct. I warrant that none of the applicant players are currently serving a suspension from play in any Football NSW or Football Federation of Australia affiliated competition. I warrant that all applicant players (and where an applicant player is aged under 18 years, the applicant player’s parent/s or legal guardian/s) have read and agree to abide by and be governed by the FootballSSG Playing Rules (click to this link to download and save a copy for future reference) and hereby releases and indemnifies FootballSSG, its officers, members and servants against any claim and compensation for any loss or injury sustained during any activity of FootballSSG and I warrant that the applicant players acknowledge and agree that any claim for loss or injury will be a matter determined between the applicant player and the relevant insurance company. I warrant that all applicant players (and where the applicant player is aged under 18 years, the applicant player’s parent/s or legal guardian/s) have read and understood the level of participant insurance cover offered through FootballSSG’s insurance policy and, if any of them believe this cover is inadequate for their particular circumstances, that they acknowledge and agree to organise any additional insurances themselves. I warrant that the applicant players grant FootballSSG, its officers, members and servants the right to obtain medical care for the applicant players from any qualified person should the need arise in a case when the applicant player’s legal guardians are not immediately available to grant authorisation. I warrant that the applicant players agree to pay all medical expenses involved in such a case. I warrant that the applicant players acknowledge and agree that cancellation of the applicant player’s application or subsequent registration may, at FootballSSG’s absolute discretion, result in the forfeiture of the applicant player’s entire registration fee and at minimum 70% of the applicant player’s registration fee. I warrant that the applicant players agree to FootballSSG using the applicant player’s name and image in the promotion and marketing of FootballSSG, its events and competitions and the commercial relationships that may be entered into in connection with such events and competitions. I authorise FootballSSG to charge the credit card with details I have listed above in the amount of the registration fee for all applicant players whose details I have provided above. I warrant that I have been authorised by the applicant players (and where an applicant player is aged under 18 years, the applicant player’s parent/s or legal guardian/s) to make this declaration.
