FootballSSG provides all registered players with a free playing uniform.
These uniforms are designed such that there is no colour clashes in any game (the colours are clearly distinguishable from each other, even under floodlighting). They also allow us to easily identify that a player is registered (and therefore insured to play).
Under the FootballSSG Playing Rules players are required to wear the provided uniform ...
incorrect uniform or no uniform ... no game ... no exceptions.
Teams that had the (minimum) qualifying number of registered players before midday on 20th July earned the right to choose their playing colours from our ten available colour-ways.
All other teams are allocated colours by FootballSSG.
The way this works is: (1) We recorded the date and time that each player is registered (2) We grade all the teams in a particular age group and assemble them in to competitions (3) In each competition we look to see which teams qualified to choose their colours by having at least the qualifying number of players registered and, of those, we determine the order in which they were registered based on the date/time their seventh/eighth player (the qualifying number) was registered. (4) We then contact each team, in the order that they qualified, to obtain their colour choice. The team that qualifies first gets first choice, the team that qualifies second gets second choice, etc etc.
The (minimum) qualifying number of players is eight (8) in the following age groups: All Under 6, all Under 7, all Under 8, all Under 9, all Under 10 and all Under 12 competitions plus Girls Under 14 and all Over 35 competitions.
The (minimum) qualifying number of players is seven (7) in the following age groups: Boys Under 14 competitions plus all Under 17, all Under 20 and all Open Age competitions
